NEW Michael J. Bladon Scholarship
We are pleased to announce the formation of a new scholarship in the name of Sports Turf Canada’s (STC) founding president Mr. Michael J. Bladon.
This professional development scholarship has received official approval from the STC Board of Directors and Executive Manager, Anne Baliva. The scholarship will be provided annually to a deserving member of STC by the Bladon Family Trust.

Key founder of GTI, Sports Turf Canada passes away at age 93
Dr. Robert (Bob) Sheard, a founder of the Guelph Turfgrass Institute and a key player in the formation of Sports Turf Canada, has passed away at the age of 93.
January 21, 2020 - Turf Care Products Canada Announces Organizational Changes
Paul McLean, former CEO at CWB Maxium Financial and co-founder of Maxium Financial Services acquired Turf Care Products Canada in April of 2019. After 45 years at the helm of one of Canada’s largest commercial turf equipment distributors, former President & CEO, Ron Craig made the decision to retire from Turf Care at the end of 2019. McLean’s acquisition of Turf Care was a natural fit as he and Craig have a long-standing relationship and share many core values that have been integral to the success of both Maxium and Turf Care.
