The successful candidate should possess:

• Secondary School Diploma
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Valid drivers license and clean driver's abstract
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment and equipment maintenance techniques

Facility Maintenance Worker

Under the direction of the Parks Supervisor or the Director of Community and Leisure Services, the primary responsibilities are located within the arena and parks operations. This position is responsible for all aspects of ice maintenance and cleaning within the arena. It is also responsible for assisting with a wide range of tasks in the parks department including, but not limited to grass cutting, watering, tree maintenance, as well as trail and sports field maintenance. The position works in collaboration with the rest of the Community and Leisure Services team and tasks frequently overlap.
