Calling all turf maintainers, our Managing Your Infield Clinic is your ticket to mastering the art of infield upkeep. Led by Trevor Warner with the City of Woodstock, this on-field clinic isn't just about getting your hands dirty—it's about transforming your field into a game-winning masterpiece. From mound repair to turf mats, we'll cover it all with practical knowledge and know how. Secure your spot now!

    Includes:

    • daily/weekly mound repair
    • daily/weekly home plate repair
    • infield mowing
    • monthly edging
    • infield stringline and measurement lay out
    • monthly fertilizing (dependent on product application)
    • moisture management on mounds
    • game day chalking
    • daily grooming & grooming patterns
    • application of various conditioners
    • outfield fair/foul line painting (pending the day)
    • display/use of all hand equipment
    • importance of tarps and why/how they are used
    • turf mats, and what they do for us and user groups
    • an option for topdressing the infield turf grass with frequent light applications using low impact equipment 
    • pre-game & post-game requirements

     Note:  clinic covers natural grass infield

      Our sports field training days are an opportunity to come out to the field, listen to experts who know best maintenance practices, talk to others who do what you do, meet the suppliers and see what products and services  they provide and watch as they demonstrate them for you.  And of course enjoy a great lunch during your training day.

      Natural Field Course

      The course will be of interest to those who manage or maintain sports turf or want to learn more about it, and those who wish to develop additional knowledge, past the fundamentals. The course offers a range of options to deal with issues such as restricted pesticide use, water use, common regional issues, limited equipment availability and how best to manage within limited financial resources.


      Synthetic Field Course

      This course explores the myth that artificial turf is low maintenance. It will be of interest to those who manage or maintain synthetic sports turf and for those who want additional knowledge of it’s maintenance requirements. Course includes an on-field demonstration of concepts learned in classroom, where possible. 

      Managing Your Infield Clinic

      Take advantage of this full day to experience infield maintenance demonstrated on a natural grass infield, with an infield expert.  An ideal event for hands-on,  applied learning and connecting with others in the industry, held on-field in Woodstock, Ontario. Find solutions to your maintenance challenges and learn infield best practices.
