Partners In Sports Field Maintenance Training

As you likely know, Sports Turf Canada travels across Canada holding Sports Field Training Days.  These are an opportunity to connect with the sports field industry and create connections that last.  These full day industry events bring together sports field managers & technicians across the province for field maintenance / management training, networking and to view the products and services available from our suppliers / vendors.  The day runs from 7:00am to 3:00pm (with setup and take down).

Our attendees are primarily operators, technicians, practitioners that use the industry's products and services for field maintenance and includes supervisors / managers within municipalities, academic institutions and stadiums.  We’ve experienced it and have heard feedback that this audience learns best through demonstration.  The more we can “show” best maintenance practices, the better.  Our goal is to educate those in attendance, and we can't do it without you.  This dynamic event shares the  resources available to our industry.

Our day includes (we are switching it up this year for those past attendees):

  • Begin our day networking with beverages / snacks as attendees arrive.  This is a great opportunity to connect with our registrants.
  • Morning spent on-field with demonstrations such as equipment and tool use, robotic and battery operated options, cultural practices, sports field maintenance best practices, line painting, tarp/cover use, irrigation lessons, artificial turf maintenance, etc.. which attendees rotate through
  • BBQ lunch with networking time and giveaways
  • Afternoon spent on-field with all attendees watching presentations that are specific to sports field management best practices

Now that you know the details, think about what you can bring to educate our attendees and help them create better and safer sports fields.
