Sports Turf Canada’s goal is to advance the knowledge and education of sports turf professionals in Canada in the areas of synthetic sports turf field safety and maintenance. This Sports Turf Canada course will be of interest to those who manage or maintain synthetic sports turf and to those who wish to develop additional knowledge and skills in this subject matter.

SCHEDULE

8:00—10:00          Introduction to Synthetic Turf

10:00—10:15        Break

10:15—12:00        Synthetic Maintenance

12:00—1:00          Lunch

1:00—2:00            On Field Demonstration 

2:00—3:00            Brief Test 

This course includes a short test on the last day to ensure you received the information which was taught.  It is multiple choice.  Registrants are required to attend 100% of the class in order to write the test.  Those who achieve a passing grade of 60% will be provided a Certificate of Successful Completion for the course. Support is provided for those with learning challenges.

CANCELLATION:

A complete refund, less a $45 administrative fee, will be issued provided written notification of cancellation is received by Sports Turf Canada no later than 7 calendar days prior to the course start date.  Those who register but do not attend will not receive a refund.  If you are unable to attend, you may send a colleague in your place, provided written notification is provided in advance of the course.  A refund will occur if the course needs to be cancelled for reasons beyond our control, by Sports Turf Canada .  Any additional costs incurred by registrants will not be covered by Sports Turf Canada.  We reserve the right to cancel any course.
